The Chrome Web Store
The Chrome Web Store is an online app store where you can install web apps to chrome to aid you in your education.
Restricted Apps
You are not allowed to download any social media, chat, or any apps that allow for communication between students during class. Unlike with the ipads, these restricted apps are automatically prevented from being downloaded. New apps are always being released, so just because an app is not blocked yet, does not mean that it isn't restricted. Use your best judgement. If you're not sure, feel free to contact the Technology Department and ask.
First offence of having a restricted app is a warning, second is a friday detention.
To add an app to your Chromebook, click on the Chrome Web Store icon found in the Launcher.
Your student account allows you access the Elmwood Park Public Schools list of apps.
These are apps that we believe will be helpful to you throughout the school year.

Clicking on an app will open up a new window displaying the details of the app.
When you are ready, click the ADD TO CHROME button on the top right hand corner.
Then it will ask you for a conformation.
Since these are web apps and not something installed on a computer,
sometimes they will ask you for login information.
Since you should already be logged in to your school account,
simply click on the Sign In With Google button.
